Al in the Classroom: Opportunities and Ethical Boundaries

Abstract

This article examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom by highlighting both opportunities and ethical boundaries. The study adopts a conceptual approach through literature review and critical analysis of current practices. Findings suggest that AI offers significant opportunities in supporting personalized learning, automating administrative tasks, and increasing accessibility in education. However, challenges arise in terms of data privacy, algorithmic bias, academic integrity, and the risk of diminishing human interaction. The article concludes that maximizing the benefits of AI in education requires clear ethical frameworks, responsible policies, and continuous teacher involvement. This work contributes to the academic discourse by providing a balanced perspective on how AI can be effectively implemented in education while maintaining ethical safeguards.
